I hope everyone stayed safe during our THREE snow days! We never expected that! We are getting back to learning. I hope everyone caught up on reading with Raz-Kids and math facts with Xtra Math and our new game Card-Zee. This week I will be showing students a new resource called Conceptua Math. Math: How can I add and subtract three-digit numbers? Writing: How can I share my opinion? Social Studies: What are some contributions Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Jackie Robinson made to our country? Friday I taught the students how to play a place value game called Card-Zee. I placed a yellow parent letter of how to play this game in your child's binder in a sheet protector with a game card on the back. All you need is a deck of cards and a dry erase marker so you can play multiple times. This game reinforces what we have learned about place value. It is a great way to review and help your child. Please try to play this with your child, it is a lot of fun!
