I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break! I hope you all had time together to have fun and relax! We have three weeks and three days left of our second nine weeks of school. We are learning a lot of new things this week. We will jump into poetry and writing like a scientist with forces and motion. We will continue our learning on measurement and vowel dipthongs.
We have a movie night coming up on Friday, December 8th for $5 which includes pizza and a drink. This is from 6-8 p.m. and Arthur's Christmas will be shown. The flyer was sent home last week in Thursday folders. If you need another one please let me know. Take a Peak at our Week: Reading: How can words or phrases supply meaning and rhythm in a poem? Wow we are almost to Thanksgiving Break! Thank you so much for all the food items brought in. We completed two full bags of food with lots of extra items! We appreciate your generosity! It has been great!
We have our feast on Thursday, November 16th from 11:45-12:25. We look forward to seeing you. Family pictures will also be offered if you are interested. We enjoyed the activities while learning at the same time. Also, we appreciate all the support with Jump Rope for Heart! We had a great time exercising and supporting the American Heart Association.
Please note we have no school Tuesday, November 7th. Our Thanksgiving Feast will be on Thursday, November 16th from 11:45-12:25. If you are planning to attend please fill out the bottom of the feast form that was sent home Thursday and return it to school by Wednesday, November 8th.
