Coming home today is a green form explaining our in school field trip on September 20th. This is a $6 activity but the kids get to participate and make many neat things to accompany our study of Georgia's early Native Americans. Please return the green form and the Cobb County permission form together. Also coming home today is a parent activity pack. This has a pack of letters explaining each activity you can do with your child. This can be done at any time it is not considered homework but an enrichment activity and to help families better understand how place value is taught. If you chose you can return it to school to show me. It may take awhile to complete all the activities if you chose to do them. Have fun and learn lots! Last, we are officially starting spelling homework today. In our take home binders we have a spelling contract activity menu. Students complete four of the activities. They can use the spelling contract activities or the spelling addition and spelling money. These laminated papers are to remain in the take home binder all year for each set of spelling words.
