This is the last week of October and Tuesday 10/31 we will have some fun fall centers for students! I appreciate all the donated items and the time. Students can dress as a story book character on Tuesday we are asking for $1 donation for United Way. Students can even bring the book to share.
Also, on Wednesday 11/1 it is picture retake day! Just remember to bring back your package if you didn't like your pictures. Or if you were absent you will have your picture taken. Thursday, 11/2 is Jump Rope for Heart. If you are able to donate a 6 pack of juice that would be great. It will help give each child a a healthy snack during the event. We have our Jump Rope time from 12:45-1:30. Please have your children wear comfy clothes and shoes that day and pack a water bottle. Take a peak at our Week: Reading: What is the author's point? We had such a great basket for the fall festival thanks so much for all the help! Next Tuesday 10/31 we are having some fun educational fall centers we do need help with supplies please consider signing up to send in an item for this fun day. Today we went to the book fair for a preview. Students came home with wishlists and a book fair flyer. If you can't visit the book fair you can always send in your order.

This is the last week of our first semester. Please encourage your child to complete 4 spelling contract activities every week with their weekly spelling words written in their agenda. I am now including them in our weekly updates under spelling. We are working on long e digraphs this week and spelling words will be getting more difficult. Students have a variety of activities to choose from in order to practice these words. Coming up in two weeks are conferences.
